Home Learning Daily Timetable example for Parents and Carers

This is an example of a possible daily timetable to use at home to help support with home learning.

A possible home learning daily timetable could look something like this:

Breakfast

9-9.30am: PE with Joe Wicks/Jumpstart Jonny workout

9.30-10.15am: English activity

10.15-10.45am: Break & snack/drink

10.45- 11.30am: Maths activity

11.30-12.00: Reading 

12.00-1.00pm: Lunchtime

1.00pm-1.10pm: Handwriting practice (forming letters, joins, spellings, writing out a nice poem or a paragraph from a book) or times table practice

1.10- 2.00pm: Foundation Subject activity (Science, History, Geography, Art, ICT, Cooking)

2.00-2.15pm: Break

2.15-3.00pm: Foundation Subject activity (Science, History, Geography, Art, ICT, Cooking)

3.00pm: Free /reward time (as long as all work complete)

3.15pm: Finish!

The times above can also be adjusted if your children are in our younger year groups:

Nursery or Reception: time for imaginative play with short activities on a morning and afternoon.

Children in Year 1 and Year 2: shorter times for activities on a morning and afternoon.
